Weekend Workshops
This is a workshop for the absolute
novice who knows nothing about oil painting. It is also for experienced
artists who work in another medium but wish to have foundational experience
in oils. The workshop is fun and informative. Includes:paint handling,
mediums, color, value, composition, and technique. You will finish at
least three paintings.

Beginning Eight-Week
Oil Painting Classes
By the end of this class you will know how to paint your own paintings,
develop your own subjects and compositions. You will understand Color
including Hue, Value, Chroma, Analogous Colors, Complements, Warm and
Cool palettes, and more.

Go deeper into technique and color theory. Learn composition and how to explore an array of subjects like landscapes, and still lifes. Prerequisite: You must already know what the primary and secondary colors are, you must know elementary brush handling.
